Frequently Asked Questions
How difficult is it to set in a quilt?
It's very easy. I use straight pins to attach my quilt to the canvas leader cloth, which is attached to all 3 poles.
Can I do a small quilt on a larger quilting system?
Yes, you can do miniatures on a 10 foot frame. I just set in my quilt closest to the **ratchets, just for convenience.
Once my quilt is set in, should it be tight or loose?
Tight, but too tight it will stretch the threads of your fabric or break stitches, not tight enough will have wrinkles and creases.
Will my quilt mount in evenly?
Yes, our 1" poles are one piece the length of your system, which enables your quilt to be rolled up evenly.
Can you follow a preprinted pattern?
Yes, you can. All our systems come with a stylus pointer that can be mounted on the right *or left side of the upper deck.
Can I do a Queen or King size quilt in your system?
Our largest quilting system (10' frame) has an actual quilting area of 107".
How hard is it set in or remove my sewing machine
Quick and easy. We have cut a slot on one end of the system, that holds the front pole. This enables you to be able to slide your machine in and out at any time. Your machine is not a permanently in the frame.
How long does it take to set in my quilt?
For example, a king size quilt will take me about a half hour.Of course, the more you set in, the easier and faster you will become. The more time you take to set in your quilt the better the results.
Do you give a warranty?
